The Wound Care Education Institute, the exclusive wound care education provider for the WCC® credential administered by the National Alliance of Wound Care will be hosting a wound assessment seminar on July 19 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Completion of the seminar will come with up to 4.0 Continuing Education Units. Participants will learn the following:
- Describe the elements of a wound assessment
- Identify pressure ulcers utilizing up to date NPUAP staging guidelines
- Identify tissue types commonly found in wounds
- How to document a comprehensive wound assessment
The cost to attend the seminar is $30.00 per participant.
